FoscaMilano with its HQ in the ex rail yard area of Porta Romana in Milan, is an Italian brand focused on textile research and design, based on the skillful legacy of Italian craftsmanship. The textile for the furniture accessories are mostly organic fabrics and often recycled resulting in a fascination for textiles and for an aesthetic sense of uniqueness and beauty. The 2018 collection is new in its shapes and colors. Ancient inspirational elements such as the “Battuto” from the venetian terrace paviments and its clefts, are translated into overlapping textile applications sewed by hand to the upholstery and other furniture accessories. Wool, silk and linen raw materials chosen for their characteristic affinities, are mixed in original arrangements of agate green tones to ocher and marble pink, with black and white contrasts. An evocative presentation of brave and stubborn creativity and of harmonious and rigorous manufacturing.
