A face is like a work of art: Eyewear Collection by l.a.Eyeworks.

Ottica San Maurilio celebrates 5Vie Art + Design with an exclusive trunk show featuring the most recent eyewear design collections by l.a.Eyeworks. Designed in Los Angeles by Barbara McReynolds, Gai Gherardi and Margo Willits, glasses by l.a.Eyeworks are known to frame lovers worldwide for their bold shapes, imaginative handling of materials, and expressive use of color.  Working from deep intuition, McReynolds and Gherardi begin each of their limited-edition designs with a hand-drawn sketch, the first step on a path of meticulous production where the finest materials are shaped by a combination of technology and hand-finished crafting. A survey of designs by l.a.Eyeworks was featured most recently in a special exhibiton “9 Stories from Veneto,” curated by Aldo Cibic,  at the 56th Venice Biennale.
