Promesse Mantenute - Antonella Cappuccio

Promesse Mantenute (Kept promises) by Antonella Cappuccio Muccino is a collection of portraits of people who have made Italy great, captured in their childhood dimension.  Antonella, mother of the famous Roman actor and director, was born in Ischia in 1944 and has a long career in exhibitions. A well-known costume designer, she then became a famous portrait painter both abroad and in Italy, and is a member of the Accademia Ponteficia.
The idea of depicting those who were the "Promesse Mantenute" of modern Italy as children was born in honour of the initiative's charitable purpose. The works will be auctioned on 18 December and the entire proceeds will go to the Telethon Foundation, which has been supporting research into rare genetic diseases for years, helping children today and enabling them to realise their dreams.
