Design is a rational, conscious, and profound act. The elegant approach of designer Marco
Guazzini aligns seamlessly with an innovative and meticulous practice, rooted in a deep
engagement with contemporary life while drawing rich inspiration from the past.
After spending several years in New York, Guazzini decided to open his Atelier in Milan,
where he had studied Industrial Design. This marked the beginning of a journey that led
him to collaborate with esteemed companies and international design galleries, including
Galleria Luisa Delle Piane, Gallery S. Bensimon (Paris), Amelie Maison d’art (Paris), Mint
Design Gallery (London), and The Collectional (Dubai). In 2021, his Atelier relocated from
Milan to Pietrasanta in Tuscany.
Guazzini is also a professor at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan.
In addition to his design work, Marco Guazzini is the creator and patent holder of the
innovative material Marwoolus®, which has been part of the permanent collection at the
Vitra Design Museum since 2016. A tribute to his roots, Marwoolus® blends Prato wool
and Pietrasanta marble to create a completely unique material, an embodiment of the
freedom of expression that defines the Italian designer’s body of work.
