Metropolitan Jungle 2022

A forge of "art craft design" that silently lives among the ancient buildings of the city.

Crafts steeped in history and fascinating paths that resist the frenetic pace of time and the chaos of the metropolitan jungle.

The Metropolitan Jungle project gives voice to the culture of beauty, highlighting a line of decorative artifacts under the careful guidance of Angela Florio, artist, designer and founder of DecorAzione®, who has captured the dreamlike vision and will lead you to discover the excellence of Italian manufacturing.

It will be possible to discover the collection in a journey through tropical animals and lush plants handmade in contemporary carttonage, combined with banner dividers at Sartoria Bassani. The historic bridal and formal wear atelier proves to be the perfect location as a place imbued with craftsmanship and style. The artisans participating with their product are Alberto Levi, Angela Florio,Beatrice Corradi dell'Acqua, Benedetta Barzanò, Fabiana and Daniela Bassani, Laura Menegotto, Ludovica Cattaneo, Maura Coscia, Monica Gorini, Paola and Mauro Merzaghi.

The manifesto of Metropolitan Jungle is represented by ManifatturalMente, a mosaic tapestry, made by Angela Florio in 2020, which reuses materials from the workshops of the 5VIE. Cotton, wood, sandpaper, metals, waxes, rubbers, stones, fabrics have been reinvented to give life to a work-symbol of the craftsmanship of the oldest heart of Milan.

The appointment is at the Sartoria Bassani in via Gian Giacomo Mora 12, from 6th to 12th June 2022.
