Nuova Galleria Morone is pleased to present The Dissolution of Power solo exhibition by Albanian artist Eltjon Valle curated by Klod Dedja. The cycle of works on display recalls the events experienced by the artist during his childhood in post-communist Albania after the 1990s. He spent his early years in Kuçova in front of an apocalyptic landscape where oil wells look like decaying conductors on the gray surface of the soil polluted by black matter. The title of the exhibition, taking its cue from these events, proposes an investigation of the theme of dissolution, understood as the distribution and displacement of fragments that are transported by the artist to a place other than their place of origin. In this sense, the artist, becomes a transporter of the drama he has experienced, "tearing" the catastrophe from its place of origin and re-establishing it in a new, non-dramatic space, which is that of the art gallery. As a rebel, Eltjon Valle proposes a personal act of direct confrontation with the power of irresponsibility, bringing forth a denunciation against those who have written or installed the drama of the pollution of human nature.

Eltjon Valle was born in Kuçova (Albania) in 1984 and lives and works in Milan, Italy. He studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, graduating in 2007 with a thesis on the subject of territory. The central theme of her work has a precise ecological connotation (which, however, stimulates broader reflections and suggestions). Focusing on the primary expressiveness of materials, not the traditional ones of painting and sculpture but those of fundamental importance of the urban and natural dimensions, is undoubtedly one of the most relevant contributions of processual and environmental art of the 1960s/70s. Valle has participated in exhibitions such as: The 54th Venice Biennale, Fondazione Bevilaqua Venice, Micro Museum New York, National center for Contemporary Moscow, The National Gallery of Arts Tirana, The National Gallery of Arts Prishtina, Taller Siete Medellin, Parco del Contemporaneo Forte Marghera and Museo D'Arte Contemporanea Villa Croce Genoa.
