About

In a covetable location in the heart of Milan, in Palazzo delle Stelline, a sixteenth-century monastery located directly opposite the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie with Leonardo da Vinci's famous Last Supper, the Institut Français Milano was created in 1949 as a ''Centre d'études et d'informations sur la culture française.''
For sixty-five years, the Institut français Milano has been making the best of French culture available to northern Italy. Its cultural promotion and dissemination activities unfold in the fields: visual arts, performing arts, cinema, literature, music, meetings and debates. There are many and diverse spaces available for cultural activities at this venue: the institute has a multipurpose cinema hall, an exhibition gallery and a media library.
