Maurizio Barberis

Graduated in Architecture at the IUAV in Venice, he has been active in the world of art and art-design since the 80s, with exhibitions and personal installations (Dilmos Milano, Morat Institut Fribourg-D) and collaborations (including the Galleria Nilufar in Milan). He also took part as an author in two editions of the Triennale di Milano.

He has collaborated with the Glass Museum of Murano and the Fortuny Museum of Venice, organizing numerous conferences and workshops and the preparation of the exhibition for the
50th anniversary of Mariano Fortuny. He has published photography books (Electa, Damiani, Mondadori Arte, RizzoliItalia, Rizzoli NewYork) and a book on the Theory of Color. He won the prize for the best photography at the Architecture Biennale of Venice in 2012. His most recent works have been exhibited at the Levi Foundation in Venice. He is one of the founders of HoperAperta.
