MARCO500

MARCO500

Artist

With a long history focused on promoting Brazilian craftsmanship and design, MARCO500 was founded by Marco Aurélio Pulchério over 30 years ago and has been a key partner on the national scene through artist mentorship, the sale of artworks, and the organization of exhibitions around the world.

The “500” in our name is no coincidence. Throughout our history, we have had the honor and privilege of collaborating with over 500 creators across all of Brazil’s regions, always prioritizing inclusion and diversity in our curation.

We believe that every artisan and designer carries their own story in what they create. Working to preserve this ancestral legacy has led to collaborations with leading names in Brazilian design and craftsmanship, such as the Campana Brothers, Marcelo Rosenbaum, Sérgio J. Matos, Iludi Design, and Yana Coelho — always guiding, shaping market mechanisms, and educating the consumer public.

MARCO500 also boasts notable achievements in the international market, having participated in fairs and exhibitions in Paris, Miami, New York, Lisbon, and Frankfurt, as well as the MoMA Design Store Destination Brazil project, and having established Caboco Arte Popular, our European handicrafts sales unit based in Portugal.

We continue our purpose of creating connections among creatives, bringing freshness to a demanding market, and showing the world the richness and diversity of Brazilian cultural identity.
