Sandro Gorra

 Sandro Gorra chooses the 5VIE Art + Design district for the second consecutive year to show his Daily Art, "the art of the moment", to the Design Week public. Small and large works by Gorra are part of the "B10/Mirabilia" exhibition project, an itinerary dedicated to wonder and amazement, curated by Olimpia Rospigliosi, in the new B10 space, in Piazza Borromeo 10 in Milan.

Gorra's art of the moment is the exaltation of the infinite moment, moments to sculpt and paint. During the international event, the Milanese artist recounts his poetics through a selection of his "moments".

The “US” moment captures the everyday moment: a series of paintings created with ancient anilines on super-smooth schoeller with a wet background in which the color slides creating glassy veils and a curious effect of movement. “The conductor”, one of the "US", is placed at the center of the exhibition itinerary in synergy with the evocative theme proposed this year by 5Vie, Unlimited Design Orchestra.
And the “Giraffe” moment with the “Close the Door” resin giraffe-sculpture: a giraffe in search of its social signal that achieves the perfect image. A design of unquestionable beauty, which however flies away due to a gust of air, upsetting sign and status... just in an instant.
