Following the success of Trattoria Altra Vista, Anotherview introduces Bar Trattoria Altra Vista con Sala Giochi, an immersive environment in which bar, tavola calda, installation, and performative conviviality converge into a single, living artwork. The new Sala Giochi offers a refined reinterpretation of Italy’s social arcades, extending the project through play, interaction, and shared cultural memory.
At its core, a monumental raw-wood table invites every guest to carve and etch its surface, transforming acts of collective vandalism into a participatory ritual. Over time, the table evolves into a layered archive of gestures and memories, later 3D-scanned and reimagined in future iterations.
Anotherview’s digital windows subtly bend perceptions of time and space, while Brutalist concrete terrariums by Mondo Bruto unfold across the table as a miniature landscape of ruins slowly reclaimed by nature. Along the Cavallerizze’s brick walls, outlined imaginary structures gather traces left by participants, gradually composing the fictional history of an imagined place.
Completing the experience, Late Mirror reflects the room with a 30-minute delay, transforming observation into a quiet meditation on time, presence, and ephemerality.
The lighting concept is designed by Studio Giò Forma for LedFlex.
A major addition to the 2025 edition is La Sala Giochi, a space that expands the experiential universe of Altra Vista while maintaining its distinctive aesthetic and emotional tone.
Inspired by the beloved Italian sala giochi of the late 20th century—where generations gathered around calcio balilla, pinball, darts, and arcade games—this new environment pays homage to a formative social landscape.
A selection of designers and artists—including Andrea Zambelli, Duilio Forte, and Matteo Pellegrino—has been invited to reinterpret iconic bar games from the 1980s and 1990s.
Instead of indulging in nostalgia, the installation reimagines the arcade through a high-end contemporary lens: sculptural lighting, warm and tactile materials, artisanal details, and a curated selection of redesigned gaming objects that merge tradition with innovation.
By day, La Sala Giochi offers a relaxed, playful environment open to all.
By night, it becomes a refined entertainment lounge—an intimate extension of the Trattoria’s exclusive dinners, gatherings, and performances.
Here, conviviality, design, memory, and play coexist—shaping a sophisticated yet accessible portrait of Italian lifestyle: culturally rooted, emotionally resonant, and elegantly reimagined for today.
